By placing an order on DreadlocksNation.com, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all sales made through DreadlocksNation.com, as well as the respective rights and obligations of Dreadlocks Nation and its customers.
They apply to all orders placed on the website and accepted by Dreadlocks Nation.
Creating a customer account is not required to place an order on DreadlocksNation.com.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when placing an order, including their name, email address, billing address and shipping address.
An order is considered confirmed once payment has been validated and confirmation has been issued by Dreadlocks Nation.
The applicable prices are those displayed on DreadlocksNation.com at the time the order is confirmed.
Prices are shown in the currency selected on the website and correspond to the amount applicable to the customer at the time of purchase.
Standard shipping is free worldwide. If a specific or express shipping method involving an additional cost is offered and selected by the customer, its price will be clearly indicated before the order is finally confirmed.
For international deliveries, customs duties, import taxes or other charges may be imposed by the authorities of the destination country. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, any such charges remain the responsibility of the recipient.
The payment methods available are displayed during checkout on DreadlocksNation.com.
Payments are processed by secure payment providers. Dreadlocks Nation does not have access to confidential banking or payment information used to complete the transaction.
All Dreadlocks Nation hats are handmade individually and in the order in which orders are received.
The production time is generally between two and four weeks. This period may vary depending on the time of year, order volume or the nature of the item ordered.
As Dreadlocks Nation is an independent craft workshop run by a single maker, periods of high activity may require additional production time.
Production time is separate from shipping time. The total delivery time applicable to the order takes both into account and is communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.
Orders are shipped within France and internationally to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.
When the parcel leaves the workshop, the customer receives a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number.
Shipping times provided are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier or customs procedures.
Upon delivery, the customer is encouraged to check the condition of the parcel and its contents. Any issue, damaged product or order error should be reported to Dreadlocks Nation as soon as possible, preferably with photographs allowing the issue to be identified.
For products eligible for the right of withdrawal, the consumer has 14 days from receipt of the order to inform Dreadlocks Nation of their decision to withdraw.
Following this notification, the consumer has a maximum of 14 days to dispatch the returned product. Direct return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the event of an error by Dreadlocks Nation or a product recognised as defective or non-compliant.
Products must be returned in accordance with the Dreadlocks Nation Return Instructions.
In particular, they must be returned in a condition allowing them to be resold as new: clean, unstained, undamaged, with the original tag still attached and properly packaged.
The consumer may be held responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to assess the nature and characteristics of the product.
If the hat is stained, soiled, has an odour or is damaged to the point that it can no longer be resold as a new item, no refund can be issued for that item.
Where the right of withdrawal has been validly exercised, Dreadlocks Nation will refund the amounts due in accordance with the applicable legal time limits.
The refund may be withheld until the returned product has been received or until proof of its dispatch has been provided.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original order, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the customer.
As standard shipping is provided free of charge by Dreadlocks Nation, no initial standard shipping fee is charged to the customer. Any additional costs resulting from the customer’s voluntary choice of a more expensive shipping method, including express delivery, are non-refundable.
Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer, except in the event of an error by Dreadlocks Nation or a product recognised as defective or non-compliant.
Custom items – special sizing, custom embroidery, a specific combination of fabrics or construction modifications – are not eligible for the right of withdrawal.
Products sold by Dreadlocks Nation benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the legal guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with applicable legislation.
The legal guarantee of conformity may be exercised for a period of two years from delivery of the product. In the event of a lack of conformity, the customer may contact Dreadlocks Nation at contact@dreadlocksnation.com in order to benefit from the remedies provided by law.
For any question relating to an order, return, delivery or product, the customer may contact Dreadlocks Nation through the contact form available on DreadlocksNation.com or directly by email at contact@dreadlocksnation.com.
In the event of a complaint, the customer is invited to contact Dreadlocks Nation in order to seek an amicable solution.
If no agreement can be reached following a prior complaint, the consumer may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator appointed by Dreadlocks Nation.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory provisions providing greater protection to the consumer which may apply depending on their country of residence.
In the event of any difficulty, the parties will first seek to resolve the matter amicably.
